Sphere 12-17-10

Ok so I've gotten help on the smudging issue and it makes sense how to fix it. But I think my lighting is really messed up or something because I cannot see the white spot (the spot that's supposed to be pure white.)

I forgot to post this so I posted it today.

Sphere

Today, I tried to make the sphere less smudged-looking, and I tried to make it look shinier to make it seem more ceramic. I also moved the white spot more to the right. I still need to make the dark shadow more curved to give the sphere more of a round look.

I need to find a way to soften the shadows and make it look a lot less smudged.

I got the backround into the picture like I've been trying, and I also have added a new sky and edited the horizon with more grass to help it blend a little better. I also edited the window on the far back porch.

I have changed the color of Scooby Doo's head and done the words Spider Doo. However, i forgot to reveal the layers that said Spider Doo. I'm wondering do I need to get rid of the 3 May and red lettering in the bottom left corner. 

???

I'm working on my Spider Doo, and i can't figure out how to color him. X/
